Baby Jack

I have obviously neglected my blog for a really long time now!  Life has been really crazy.  I started the nursing program at Southern Utah University this spring and it has definitely kept me on my toes.  I also had our baby, John Anthony Hunter (a.k.a. Jack), on March 31st, 2012 at 11:54 p.m.  He came right on his due date and I was determined to have him then and not on April 1st. :)

He weighed 8 lbs 11 oz and was 21.5 inches.  Labor and delivery were completely amazing!  Yes, I got an epidural and loved it.  The entire process was wonderful.  I had wonderful nurses.  I adore my Obstetrician, and my husband was such a wonderful support. 

I realized that I absolutely love everything about being a mother.  I loved being pregnant.  I loved labor and delivery.  I love having him here and being his mom!  It's amazing how you can feel so fulfilled and complete when you're doing what the Lord wants you to do.  I truly feel that I am finally serving in my divine role as a mother.  It's such an amazing experience!

Cameron is also so amazing!  He is such a wonderful father.  I love to see him play, hug, kiss and cuddle with his little boy.  Jack looks just like Cameron, and I love it!  I am so lucky to have married the wonderful man that I married!  He is so unbelievably good to me and now he is just as good to our little one.
